Why we're called frame387

Naming a studio is hard. You want something that sounds good, means something, and doesn't already have a taken .com. We wanted one more thing: a name that told you exactly who we are and where we come from — without a paragraph of explanation.

So we split it in two. frame387 is two halves of the same story.

"Frame" — where we live

If you've ever opened Figma, you know the frame. It's the canvas, the artboard, the container every screen we design starts its life inside. We spend our days drawing frames, naming frames, nudging frames one pixel to the left.

So 'frame' isn't a metaphor for us — it's literally where the work happens. It's our home base, our medium, the unit we think in.

"387" — where we're from

Pick up a phone and dial +387, and you're calling Bosnia & Herzegovina. That's our country code, and that's us. We're a Bosnian studio, and we wanted that baked right into the name rather than tucked away in a footer.

There's a quiet pride in it. Good design work comes out of Bosnia, and 387 is how we sign it.

Put them together

frame387: the craft and the place. Figma frames designed in Bosnia, shipped to clients across SaaS, e-commerce, and beyond.

It's the whole story — and, conveniently, also the whole name.
